Faith Statement
We are a group
of believers in Christ and we are understanding and live by the scriptures of
the Holy Bible. We consider ourselves to be more toward the evangelical church, however, we are open to presenting our ministry to other Christian denominations.
We encourage those who seek help from our ministry ... to receive Jesus Christ as her personal Savior while placing
their focus on God’s purpose for their lives, and living by the teachings of
God’s Holy Word. (Romans 10:9-13) This is not a pre-requisite to participate in
this ministry.
With that in mind, we believe that all
people fall short from a relationship with God because of their sin nature
(Romans 3:23) and because of that, the only way to come into a relationship
with God is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ – that through Jesus, He is
the way, the truth, and the life, and that no man will come unto God, except
through Him – Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)
We believe in the Triune God (John
15:26-27) - God is the Great I Am
(Exodus 3:6-7); Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews
13:8); Part of Jesus Christ’s ministry
was to heal the broken-hearted (Isa. 61:1-4) and we are a reflection of that
ministry. The Holy Spirit is One who works with and through each and every
aspect of our life if we release the Holy Spirit to work in and through our lives.
(1 Corinthians 12:7-13) Therefore, we believe in the Triune God, God the
Father, God the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God is in control of all
things good or bad – Romans 8:28.
We believe that the Holy Bible is God’s
message to us from the beginning of time until the end of times. It is the
manual of absolute truth which teaches every believer how to live according to
God’s Will through it’s teachings, it’s discipline, it’s encouragement, and
it’s admonishments. (2 Timothy 4:16-17)
We believe in the free will of all
peoples, but that we as Christians are held accountable to the teachings of
God’s Word and his mandate for marriage – that one man and one woman be
married for life. However, we also believe that women and men hold a sin nature, counter to God's Will, thereby, some divorces are inevitable.
